IMF Headquarters WASHINGTON, DC
KTA evaluated the mechanical, electrical plumbing and fire protection systems of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Headquarters Buildings One (HQ1) and Two (HQ2), for vulnerabilities and potential single points of failure. The assessment was to identify and document all equipment installation issues, and any potential single points of failure that could jeopardize IMF business operations resulting from the unreliable operation of the base building’s MEP systems. KTA’s team of engineers conducted field investigations for each building. During this period, mechanical, fire protection and electrical systems were inspected, various existing documents and drawings were reviewed and interviews with key maintenance personnel were conducted.
