KTA Group, Inc. was founded in 1989 as an engineering design and consulting firm with an emphasis on healthcare design. We soon expanded our client base with the design of telecommunications space, mission critical space, commercial interiors, government and schools. We have grown to be a nationally recognized leader in mechanical, plumbing and electrical engineering design as well as third party code review. We are headquartered in Herndon, Virginia and have regional offices in Tennessee, Florida and the District of Columbia. We are also affiliated with KTA, PC located in North Carolina. Our firm of over 100 associates strives to provide the highest level of responsiveness and quality engineering design services to our clients.

Our registrations in 46 states and the District of Columbia are complimented by our national and local code experience.
KTA is current with the latest developments in the industry to provide quality, healthy buildings, which are environmentally and fiscally responsible. KTA is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and has several LEED® accredited professionals on staff.
